Community School

Sweet Day Community School in Irvington is a warm and welcoming infant through preschool child care center. Our 5 classrooms serve children from 3 months to five years old. We blend best practices in infant and early childhood education. Our teachers have specialized knowledge of child development and are inspired by both the RIE (Resources for Educators) and Reggio Emilia approaches to education, with a commitment to joy and discovery as a basis for each child's day.

Music Classes

Included in tuition are bi-weekly music classes with our visiting teaching artist Elodie of Chords Music. Elodie brings child sized ukeleles, and with her warm teaching style she brings out the natural love of music in each child.
