Spring Open Studio

It was wonderful seeing so many families come by for the Open Studio Party on Earth Day! I wish I had snapped more pictures, but I was having way too much fun! There was finger painting, lovely live music, cupcakes, obstacle courses in the yard and a new baby sibling to cuddle!
We had "The Rainbow Castle" on display in the Art Studio. It is a work in progress for the kids. It's based on a story the Birdies came up with a few weeks ago.
We were working on clay when we started talking about the elements that would be in the story. Here's notes from our discussion:
